There is an extra dog in this house. I was surprised when I found out about that, because with 4 foster siblings, I already have a lot of company. But, I really like the looks of this guy. And he seems to like me too; he smiles right back at me every time!
The first time I saw him was in the spare bedroom, but the strange thing was, that every time I went around the door to find the rest of him, he disappeared!
Then, I found him again in foster mom's bedroom!
And as luck would have it, he appeared in the living room as well, although I had to do a bit of climbing to find him. But, just like in the spare room, when I went around the sofa to sniff him "properly", he disappeared again.
I found my friend not long after I came to my foster home. Since then, foster mom has taught me that it is not polite to jump on dressers, or stand on sofas, so I don't do that anymore. Wow, there are so many house manners to learn when one retires, but I'm getting the hang of it. But don't despair, I've found other places I can meet my friend with all my feet on the ground. He also appears in window panes, the oven door, and the in the door of the washer and dryer, so I can still see him whenever I want to.
Foster mom says if you want a dog who's handsome, sweet, with a touch of whimsy about him, I just might be your boy.
Until next time,
Winn
